Sloane’s Hot Chocolate – Posh Hot Chocolate

Hot chocolate is often a forgotten drink in cafes with all the focus on coffee bean origins and the multitudes of tea available. Sloane’s are putting the excitement into hot chocolate by firstly putting more cocoa than most in their chocolate drinks, so they taste of chocolate.

Everything is made in their studio in Surrey where they blend different chocolates and then make their unique chocolate beads which melt with all types of milk. This production facility gives them the flexibility to develop different ideas when they see opportunities in the market. Recently they developed a Luxury Blend of Milk and Dark for a large National Trust property with 6 cafes which sold over 50,000 luxury hot chocolates in 8 weeks. Also, they developed a range of vegan hot chocolates which go well with Oat or Soya milk.

Their signatures blends are their Smooth Milk 34% and their Rich Dark 57% (which won the Best Hot Chocolate award from the Sunday Telegraph).  In addition, they have a number of single origin blends firstly an Ecuador Dark 70% and an Ecuador Milk 39% and also a Madagascar 67% which give cafes the opportunity to bring in new chocolates for the customers to try.

For this Autumn/Winter they are launching a range of new flavours starting with Pumpkin Spice for Halloween Time, then Winter Blend for the Christmas time and finally Dark with Turmeric for when everyone needs a pick me up.

The range comes in compostable barista packs.
